The Santa Cruz County International Film Festival is part of Santa Cruz Nature and Heritage, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
A board of directors guides both organizations, which are staffed by unpaid volunteers from the community who are passionate about sharing with the world the unique history, culture, natural beauty and people of Nogales, Santa Cruz County and our neighbor to the south, the state of Sonora, Mexico.
As the festival is relatively new, our current focus is to provide an enriching experience to our participants while promoting Nogales and Santa Cruz County, and to make ends meet.
As the film festival progresses and grows year after year, we plan to fund scholarships to support the education of students in filmmaking and the visual arts, as well as in continuing to promote Nogales and Santa Cruz County as destinations for the filming and production of motion pictures, documentaries and other forms of cinematography.
